Job Description

Overview:
The role of an outbound Sales Consultant is to timeously contact, provide accurate advice
and make recommendations to clients. The Outbound Sales Consultant will need to overcome objections and close deals.

Responsibilities:
  • Contact potential clients to inform them about the Discovery Insure product.
  • Asking relevant questions to understand the client’s needs,
  • Match the correct benefits and plan type to the client’s needs,
  • Overcoming objections and closing deals,
  • Accurately explain features and benefits of the Discovery Insure Product,
  • Meet, achieve and exceed sales targets,
  • Adhere to and achieve Quality Assurance and Compliance standards,
  • Accurately capture client details, the quote and the application on the Smart Advice system,
  • Ensure that clients whom are in a pending or call backs status are timeously contacted and followed up,
  • Ensure that all clients are dispositioned correctly on the relevant system.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric,
  • RE 5 and the appropriate FAIS qualifications,
  • At least one year’s telesales experience(preferably outbound sales) in selling short-term products,
  • Proficient and fluent in English,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Target driven,
  • Proven track record of closing deals over the phone,
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette,
  • Strong sales approach including handling objections and closing deals,
  • Ability to prioritize,
  • Must be computer literate (MS Office).
  • Discovery Insure sales experience an advantage.
